My idea started to take shape during a recent trip to Venice.
After seeing Lorenzo Quinn’s installation “Support” (pictured below – personal photograph) I started thinking about global warming and its effects on our planet. This led to further consideration into the reasons of global warming such as pollution, deforestation, etc.
As a Romanian I’m not a stranger to deforestation and illegal logging, as it is a practice still happening in my native country, so I decided to create an installation that tackles this issue hoping that I can make people meditate on what they are destroying.
