Book art

08/31/2017

Creating tree stump-like structures from materials found in the forest has proven very difficult due to the nature of the site and weather conditions so I had to find an alternative way of constructing the main part of my installation.

This is how I came across the artists below, who have used books in a new and innovative way. In their work the books were recycled into artworks and given the theme and the fact that paper is a product derived from wood I think books would be a very good choice of media for the project.
