Many forest areas are illegally cut around the Globe.

Some of the most known ones are the Eastern Europe ancient forests and the Rain Forest.

These forests are cut down for timber, to make land available for other uses such as agriculture, expanding built up areas or planting palm oil trees used in a vast majority of products nowadays from shampoo to ice cream, margarine, lipstick, etc.

The consequences of this massive deforestation are more and more obvious with soil erosion affecting vast areas, higher pollution levels, and loss of animal and plant species.
